I came crawling back...
Aug. 2nd, 2023 11:43 pm'sup DW, I see you're still going. Twitter went xtinct last week and it was enough motivation to leave that shitshow cold turkey like I did f.book years ago. I tried reinvesting in tumblr, but it's a platform for memes, reblogs, and art, not screaming into the void. I need to scream into the void sometimes.
I've spent the last couples months going "I should blog like I use to", but I talk myself out of it because I'm not sure if I want strings of posts reminding me of 2023. Also, I should probably have strings of blog posts reminding me about 2023. It's been 'a year' (and it's only August).
I should start with my Japan trip from March and rediscover that high, because that was a good time.

That's all I have that're handy. I'll get these off my phone at some point and pretend it's March all over again lol.
I might also suddenly change this journal to yuukihickory (a nod to my OG weeb handle lol). I'm not sure I'm feeling this handle for casual use...
